The Happy Amazon tee by Truly Wild features a Yellow-naped Amazon parrot (Amazona auropalliata) peeking out of its nesting cavity in a tree. These beautiful, intelligent birds are native to Central America and are critically endangered. The main threats to the Yellow-naped Amazon are deforestation and poaching for the pet trade.

In Nicaragua, Paso Pacifico pays farmers for each successful fledgling on their property, builds artificial nest boxes, and plants trees to ensure they have nesting cavities and food in the future.
