Black-Footed Cat Women's Tee

The black-footed cat (Felis negripes) has earned the nickname of the world's deadliest cat due to its extremely high hunting success rate. But, at about one half the mass of a house cat, the black-footed cat is also undeniably cute. 

This tiny cat spends the day sheltering inside burrows dug by other mammals in the open grasslands of southern Africa. This artwork was designed by Truly Wild's owner, Hal Brindley, after completing his black-footed cat field research project studying burrow use and selection in southern Namibia. This illustration was based on a photo of one the female black-footed cats in Hal's study. Her name was Kara and Hal spent many happy nights watching her hunting under the starry Namibian sky.
